Flight tea lounge is a 10/10. The carborro location is just a six seat bar in an art gallery but the tea was awesome and reasonably priced. I think next time I'd go to the Mebane location since they have snacks, but the carborro location is perfect for when you're meandering downtown and want a sit down break that is low effort high reward. I got a tea flight and was definitely satisfied. The carborro location is closer to me as well, so I'll just have to justify more trips lol

First visit today, and it far surpassed my expectations. Will definitely be back to try their unique and large tea selection. They were extraordinarily knowledgeable about the teas and were great at explaining and sharing that knowledge. Had wonderful conversations with others and the environment was simply delightful. I'm looking forward to checking out their new location in Mebane as well. Impressive selection of teas and accessories to take home as well. I cannot recommend enough...GO next time you are strolling around Carrboro.

I'll admit I am still confused by my visit here this past weekend. I entered the shop expecting to be able to order tea. I left thirsty. There were four stools at a counter, and four people were sipping tea. The proprietor (I'm guessing) was chatting amiably with them. It appeared, based on the snippets of conversation that I heard, that at least one of them and maybe all, were getting flights of tea, so I realized he had to serve them and it might be a few minutes before he could get to me. I waited patiently, checking out the small area of tea retail, and waiting for him to at least say a quick "hello" or "I'll be with you shortly", but he never acknowledged me, or even looked in my direction. I stood a couple feet away from the counter, waiting for a chance to ask for a menu, and trying to catch his eye. Nothing. I walked around and enjoyed the very cool art installation for a while. Then came back and hoped to get his attention once again since the conversation with the folks at the counter had died down a bit. Still couldn't get his attention. After about 20 minutes, I figured that maybe the tea service is only available by appointment, and since I had just walked in off the

This place is a dream for tea lovers! I drove all the way from east Raleigh and would do it again. The matcha latte was the best Iβve had outside of Japan (and maybe even better than some in Japan). The owner, Jarrah, is a wealth of tea information and personally knows the source and stories of many of his teas. Highly recommend checking it out!

The service was amazing. The owner was very kind and taught me a lot about loose leaf teas. We got two flights and a Gongfu service. The owner has sourced most of the teas himself and knows all of the stories behind the farms and teas. He takes a lot of care in his work. The matcha latte and houjicha latte were amazing, some of the best we have had to date. He is also opening a shop in Mebane that will be open more often in a few months.
